Delete Activities

You can remove this activity’s data from Garmin connect app, and Web Garmin connect.

- Timed Activity
- Garmin Connect App
- Open the Garmin Connect app
- Open connect app menu
- Select the Activities
- Select All Activities
- Then select the name of the activity that you want to delete
- Tap on Three Dots
- Select to delete an Activity
- Tap Yes to confirm
- Web Garmin Connect
- Open Garmin connect Web from a web browser
- Select Activities from the left navigation bar
- Select All Activities
- Select the activity that you want to delete and press the trash icon
- Press Select to conform
- Now refresh your page to ensure activities are deleted
2. Custom Activity
- Garmin Connect App
- Open the Garmin app and select the menu
- Select Training
- And select Workouts
- Select an activity that you want to delete
- Press Three Dots
- Select Delete Workout
- Select Yes to confirm
- Garmin Web Connect
- Sign to your Garmin Web connect
- Select the training option from the navigation bar
- And then select Workout
- Select the activity that you want to remove
- Press on Delete Activity
- Select Yes to confirm
3. Weigh-ins Delete Data
- Garmin Connect App
- Open the Garmin Watch
- Go to the app menu
- Select the Health Stats option
- Tap on Weight
- Select days that you want to delete
- Click on Three Dots
- Then delete a Weigh-in
- Click on Delete to confirm
- Garmin Web Connect
- Go to the Garmin Web on the web browser
- Signup with your account
- Select Health Stats from the navigation bar
- Tap on Weight
- Select days that you want to remove Weigh-in
- Select Delete to confirm
4. A full day of Wellness Data
- Garmin Connect App
If you want to delete the entire data, you can do this from Garmin Web Connect. It is not possible from the Garmin Connect App.
Follow the steps below
- Go to the Garmin Web Connect from a web browser
- Select Activities from the navigation bar
- Tap on Steps
- Scroll up and search for the day that you want to delete. (you can just delete a day from history).
- Once you select, the gear icon appears
- Select Delete option
- Tap on Delete to confirm
- Now refresh your page and check your data has been deleted.
5. Segments
- Garmin Web Connect
- Sign Up for the Garmin Web Connect on the web browser
- Tap on the Training option from the navigation bar
- Select Segments
- Choose your completed Segment
- Select the trash icon
- Tap on Delete to confirm
Soft Reset
A soft reset is the other way to start your Garmin watch usually. Which is stuck on the saving process.

You can do a soft reset by following the steps below:
- Power off your Garmin watch by pressing and holding the Power/Light button
- Ensure your Garmin watch is entirely powered off
- Press and hold the Back/Lap button
- Release the Back/Lap button when the message appears (Clear user data)
- Select Yes to confirm
Reboot
It’s easy to reboot your Garmin watch. You can do this by following the below steps:
- Press and hold the power button until the watch powers off. It can take 20 seconds to power off.
- When your watch is powered off, leave him for 1 minute
- Press the same button to turn it on
- Plug your Garmin watch into a power source, such as a USB charging cable, and press/hold the Light button to power it off.
- If you have a device without buttons, plug the charging cable into the watch and prompt unplug. It can cause an internal restart.
Sync to Garmin Connect
Ensure you are synced with the Garmin Connect app or Garmin Web connect.
Because Garmin connect saves your activity and data on the connect app or Web Connect.
Some people don’t sync with the connect app or Web connect.
That is why they cannot be able to install the latest update on their device.
Keep Close Garmin Watch and Phone
If you are using Garmin Connect or another app to upload your activity data. You should keep a minimum distance between your phone and watch.

Because if your devices are away from one another, you can face the same problem as your watch is stuck on saving.
An ideal distance to transfer your activity through Bluetooth is about 10 (32 feet).
Ensure you are keeping your mobile phone and Garmin watch at this distance.
